Aaron Michael Murphy
Aaron Michael Murphy is an injury lawyer and trial attorney practicing in Louisville, Kentucky. Aaron has helped clients from all areas of Kentucky receive the compensation for their injuries that they deserve. Aaron received a B.A. from Murray State University in 2004, with a major in Political Science and minoring in Economics. Aaron subsequently studied law at the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law receiving J.D. in 2007.

Scott Emerson Powell
Scott Powell is a litigation attorney concentrating in the areas of plaintiffs’ personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, commercial litigation, and complex family law. Before forming Murphy & Associates, Scott worked at a well known defense firm where he represented insurance and healthcare companies. Scott now uses his intimate knowledge of the insurance and healthcare industries’ defense tactics to help clients obtain full compensation for their injuries.
While in law school, Scott was a national champion moot court negotiator, and represented the U.S. in international competition. In addition, Scott served as a legal intern for the U.S. Commercial Attache office of the London Embassy, where he helped U.S. businesses comply with U.K. and E.U. import regulations.

Marque G. Carey is an attorney practicing in association with the firm of Murphy & Associates PLC. Mr. Carey completed his undergraduate work at Tennessee State University where he received a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Mr. Carey subsequently attended the University of Louisville where obtained a Master of Science in Social Work from the Kent School of Social Work and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Brandeis School of Law. Mr. Carey is a member of:

Mr. Carey is admitted to practice before all of the courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as well as the U.S. District and Bankruptcy courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the Southern District of Indiana.
Mr. Carey also serves as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee in the Western District of Kentucky and practices in the area of Debtor-Creditor law with experience in Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies. He also does general civil litigation, foreclosure defense, and estate planning. Mr. Carey engages in the practice of business law assisting clients with every stage of their business from business formation to dissolution. Carey is a trained mediator. Aside from the practice of law, Carey is also an instructor at a post-secondary institution.
J. Rosalie Guthrie
Rosalie Guthrie is an attorney practicing in association with the firm of Murphy & Associates PLC. Ms. Guthrie completed her undergraduate work at University of Kentucky where she received her B.A. Ms. Guthrie subsequently attended the University of Louisville where obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Brandeis School of Law in 2006.
Ms. Guthrie is admitted to practice before all of the courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as well as the U.S. District Courts. Ms. Guthrie has helped hundreds of individuals with family law issues throughout Kentucky. Ms. Guthrie is also a trained mediator.
Ms. Guthrie is also an officer of the non-profit, Family & Children’s Place in Louisville, Kentucky. Ms. Guthrie has been involved in the Family & Children’s place for many years and has been a speaker at annual events.
Ron was born in Managua, Nicaragua, and moved to Lexington, Kentucky at the age of seven. Ron graduated from Moore High School in Louisville and has also earned his associates degree in business. Ron is a case manager for Murphy & Associates PLC and coordinates all Spanish language cases.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Alex is a case manager for Murphy & Associates PLC. In addition to working at Murphy & Associates she is also pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business at Indiana University Southeast.
When not working, Alex enjoys art, her dog Nero, and french cuisine.
Linda-Lee is a legal secretary for Murphy & Associates PLC. Linda-Lee assists with file management and medical records requests. Linda-Lee has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.
